How do I get Android access?

CapitalLoop is currently distributed internally. Ask the project team for the current Android release package and installation guidance.

Why does CapitalLoop request location?

Location is optional and used only while you request nearby places or recenter the map. If you decline, the app continues with Islamabad-wide recommendations.

How do registration and password reset work?

Register or sign in from Profile. New accounts must follow the verification link sent by Firebase. Use “Forgot password” with the account email to request a reset link.

How do I save a place?

Open a place and choose Save. Saved places sync to a verified account and can be opened or removed from the Saved tab.

How does calling work?

When a verified phone number is available, Call opens the device dialer with that number filled in. CapitalLoop does not read contacts and cannot place a call directly.

How do directions work?

Directions opens a standard Android geo intent so you can choose an installed navigation app. CapitalLoop does not run a routing server or record the resulting journey.

What should I do when content does not load?

Check the device’s Internet connection and use Retry. Map tiles and current place information require connectivity; recently viewed entries remain stored locally on the device.
